The Chicago Area National Space Society Chapters and the Environmental Concerns Organization are proud to sponsor a visit to Chicago by Dr. David Criswell, Director of the Institute for Space Systems Operations and inventor of the Lunar Solar Power concept.
Our world faces a continuously growing demand for energy. One potential future source is solar power. In this presentation, Dr. David Criswell, the inventor of the Lunar Solar Power concept, will explain how solar arrays located on the Moon can be used to supply electricity to an energy-starved Earth. Dr. Criswell is the Director of the Institute for Space Systems Operations, the Associate Director of the Texas Space Grant Consortium and serves on the Board of Advisors for the National Space Society.
