What makes it one of my favorites is its blend of excellent papers on Mars as a planet and its papers on the future of both manned and unmanned missions to the planet. This book is in my personal collection and is recommended reading for those seriously interested in the geologic history of Mars and its future exploration. |

Published in 1992, it is just shy of being 1,500 pages long and has contributions from 114 authors. If you want to know anything about the planet Mars, you can find it here. This book is in my personal collection and is most highly recommended reading for the serious student of the planet Mars. |
